OVERVIEW
External Transfer is available to individuals who possess prior law enforcement roleplay experience gained within other recognized communities. This pathway is designed to accommodate experienced individuals by allowing them to enter the Los Santos Sheriff's Department without progressing through the full standard recruitment process.
External Transfer is not guaranteed, and all submissions are subject to a thorough and strict review process. Each application will be assessed on an individual basis, taking into consideration the following factors:
- The applicant’s prior community reputation
- Verified rank and length of service
- Quality, depth, and relevance of prior law enforcement experience
- Reason for departure from the previous community
- Overall professionalism, conduct, and suitability, including out-of-character ((OOC)) considerations
- The applicant submits the completed External Transfer form.
- Los Santos Sheriff's Department Command and Executive Staff review the request and evaluate eligibility, including potential rank.
- Department leadership makes the final determination regarding approval and assigned rank.
- The outcome is communicated and posted on the External Transfer form.
Applicants must meet all of the following before applying:
- Must have prior law enforcement roleplay experience in a recognized community.
- Must be in good standing within that community at the time of departure.
- Must provide valid proof of rank and service.
- Must not have any history of serious misconduct, abuse, or blacklisting.
- Must be willing to adapt to LSSD standards, procedures, and structure.
- Applicants must provide truthful and verifiable information regarding their previous experience.
- Any falsified, altered, or misleading proof will result in immediate denial.
- If denied, applicants may not reapply unless explicitly permitted by Command Staff.
All external transfers will be assigned a rank at the discretion of Command Staff regardless of previous standing. Prior rank does not guarantee equivalent placement within the LSSD.
The Los Santos Sheriff's Department reserves the right to require any applicant to complete part or all of the standard training process if deemed necessary.
Integrity and honesty are critical — any attempt to mislead Command Staff will result in a permanent denial of your application.
